Deratisation

Deratisation implies a set of various measures taken to reduce rodent population below the limit of harmfulness, aiming to stop the reproduction or complete destruction of the present population of harmful rodents that are reservoirs and hosts of infectious diseases.

The aim of controlling harmful rodents is to eliminate the risk of the occurrence and transmission of infectious diseases, eliminate economic and economic damage caused by the destruction and contamination of food and prevent contamination of surfaces, areas and facilities.

Decoy is a mixture of food and rodenticide. Anticoagulant rodenticides of 2nd and 3rd generation are effective in low concentrations, but in the same quantities they are non- toxic to humans and domestic animals. They cause death quickly and efficiently, without any suffering, similar to natural death. A bitter substance is added to the decoy to reject other warm-blooded animals and humans from swallowing it.

After investigating each facility, our professional staff carefully places marked deratisation boxes with bait on pathways and places that rodents frequently visit, depending on the specifications of every location.

To prevent entry and retention of rodents it is necessary to:

remove trash from rooms, attics, basements, and surroundings of the facility so that rodents would be forced to eat decoy

close all access points and gaps in installations (a house mouse passes through an aperture diameter of 6 mm and a rat through a 12 mm opening)

make sure all entry doors are well sealed using metal jambs or door sweeps

place stainless metal security mesh with an aperture maximum of 0.6 cm to windows and air shafts

install properly working siphons and adequate obstacles in the sewer system.
